Use, Scope, and Purpose of Data Storage and Processing
We store and process personal data for the purposes of maintaining contact with customers, sending marketing communications via e-mail, promoting sales, and profiling customers in order to provide them with tailored content and product offers via e-mail and on our websites. When e-mails are sent, we track whether the recipients open the messages and whether they click on any links contained within them. To improve our offerings, ensure they are more targeted, and tailor future communications, we automatically process, analyze, and profile the recorded data, and assess our customers’ level of interest in the messages sent. We do not engage in automated decision-making based on the recorded data or the profiles created. For the purpose of communication via email, we store:
- email address,
- first name,
- surname.
We collect personal data based on the explicit consent of the individuals concerned. We retain these consents, along with their specific content and the content of the form through which they were obtained.
Personal data is accessed and used by the following departments within our company:
- administration
- production
Export
Personal data collections are stored within the Republic of Slovenia and are not transferred to other countries.
Retention Period
We retain an individual’s personal data until they withdraw their consent for the storage and processing of said data. Upon withdrawal of consent, we immediately, effectively, and permanently delete the individual’s personal data.
Should the purposes described above—for which we store and process personal data—cease to exist within our company, we will immediately, effectively, and permanently delete the relevant data collections.
Data regarding the viewing of received messages and clicks on links contained within those messages is retained for 12 months from the date the message was sent.
Rights of the Individual (Data Subject)
At any time, an individual may request the following regarding their personal data:
- access,
- correction,
- complete deletion,
- transfer to another provider of similar services,
- cessation of processing and storage (i.e., withdrawal of consent for processing and storage)—without affecting the lawfulness of any processing that took place based on consent prior to such withdrawal. …consents shall remain in effect until their revocation
Should our company wish to further process personal data for a purpose other than that for which it was originally collected, we will provide the individual—prior to such further processing—with information regarding this other purpose, as well as any other relevant information, as set out in this document.
If an individual believes that their rights regarding the protection of their personal data have been violated by us in any way, they may at any time lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority—the Information Commissioner of the Republic of Slovenia:
